Mine just arrived. Pics to follow, but here is the overal picture - 1941 Podolsk, SVT stock, 1 repair to LH side rear receiver , no cracks or gouges. Light sanding to stock, refurb 'square' but otherwise looks pretty good with a decent redish/honey finish and plenty of proof marks. 1 matching serial number on the stock, no signs of a previous serial # being there. Matching colour/figure hand guard. Receiver milled for rails, strong Podolsk stamp, copper coloured bolt. 1 piece sling swivel, 6 port muzzle. Metal parts look good, no rust or obvious black paint, blueing looks really decent even on the butt plate. Can't see any Izzy or Tula stamps on any of the smaller parts. Mag is force matched and crudely electro-penciled. Action feels smooth, have not looked at the bore yet. The whole damn firearm is covered in cosmo, but that's part of the fun.
Very satisfied, on the whole initial visual comparison to my other refurbed SVT 40s, I'd rank it about an 8 1/2 out of 10. I'm a happy customer.
