Been wanting to get a Sig SP2022 for a while.
But I can't find it anywhere in Canada.
I understand that it come with a 3.9" barrel, does Sig make model with an extended barrel?
If I get an FDE one, I might sell mine. Think I have 2 boxes through it. Bought it when a couple stores got them last year at a very good price. Unfortunately, our dollar has sh!t the bed and the price has gone way up... plus they're nowhere to be found.
If you like Sig 226's, you'll love the SP2022 which has the same DA/SA trigger pull and geometry, ergonomics (it's just lighter due to being polymer). Although not the same pistol, but you can get a P250 at a reasonable price as well. I have large hands (as pictured) and the grip works for me, the magazine pinky grip works great.
Just had mine to the range after a little while not firing it... very accurate pistol. Extremely pleased with it. More recoil than my all metal P226, but you get used to it. A guy who had never fired a gun before tried it and shot quite well.
Well made pistol, especially for the $500 I paid for it. Don't think they're that cheap anymore since our dollar went south.
If you like a P226 w/E2 grips, you'll like this pistol. Lighter so a little more recoil but it's quite similar in many ways. I really like this pistol, except the magazines are a little expensive and not that easy to locate.
