If you must know why I am irritated I will tell you. To sell chokes under the premise that if you buy brand "A" it will shoot just like my gun.I have not told you that my shot gun (this would be my personal gun no one else) has some other custom work done to it to make it shoot like it does. When asked if there has been work done to my gun ,I ignore your questions . I am referencing no one in this thread or on the board just on observation of turkey choke manufacturers.
On a completely different subject I have heard a calling seminar put on by Adrian and he is a fantastic caller and obviously a great turkey hunter.

Well, I appreciate Adrian posting his pictures - both of Turkeys and coyotes. You were the only one to mention selling chokes. I did not know that Adrian sells chokes, and if that is his job, great. There was no mention by Adrian in his post about chokes or any advertising for any product so his post was about showing the turkeys he harvested. And that is what the hunting section is all about.

but as to defend myself and to forward my expertise in patterning guns and chokes I do have a lot behind me like it or not. I have tested near ever gun out there and have spent far more then most on this subject and merely give my opinion on it. I have 2- 20ga of the same guns one shoots a Pure gold choke .570 that I do not work for and the 2nd shoots a Sumtoy .567 that I don't work for and they both pattern the same, why because they are well made chokes. One gun had the forcing cone done and the other did not. But I do not promote any special choke company.
I screwed up and did not see the 2016 thread that should have been pinned, so I made a mistake. Most guys don't like my name Adrian J Hare because of what I do and I am lucky I guess, but all the cheap shots only make me sit back and not try and help anyone because I get sick of them. I am only one of the very few that did waist my own time to try and help success with others, but if that is what most do not want then so be it - easy stop posting. I could care less about what others say because I know I do not constantly promote company names in my threads or replies, I answer with a honest reply. I do not need to stretch the story or lie about anything...
Guys now lets get back to hunting and stop the bickering I am who I am - get over it.
Yes 1Duck I believe you should put up your pic's because you guys shot some of the best spurs I've seen in a long time. The questions you asked were great and I can back up my information on the too.
So a guy posts up what choke /gun/shell combo he uses and maybe recommends that if you buy the same set up you should get good results, this set up doesn't work for you and you get all bum hurt and start bashing the guy??? Give your head a shake....we are talking about shotguns and chokes.............yes that fits the definition of an azz hat...........
A guy is good enough to post up his hunting success and some great pictures, doesn't once mention a product he used and you guys start bashing................who cares that he started a new thread, that's what these forums are for......you want to post in a existing thread go for it, you want to start your own thread for your story and success pics great!! Thanks for sharing..............no need for the big headed bashing posts! Like Adrian said this should of been a great thread on a great hunting season not guys bickering back and forth. Why would anyone want to share stories and pics in the future???? Sorry for side tracking this thread Adrian and it's not like I even know you but I know you get treated unfairly on these forums from time to time and for no reason....I too enjoy your hunting pic's and stories and hope to keep seeing them in the future.
You have no clue what I am talking about but carry on. No I am not bum hurt. No I did not buy a choke. I thought we were going to let it go as per Adrian's last post. I do not have pictures to post in the other thread. Now you can speculate that I have not shot anything but that would not be correct.So call me a ass hat if it makes you feel good.Adrian can look after himself as he is quite articulate and knowledgeable about most forms of hunting.

All I got to say is I have not seen to many 6 year old birds killed in the last few years let alone 2 of them ! 1duck tell me what you use Please ! LOL post up them photo's guys these fella's shot grandpapies

Spur length only and measured by the outside curve.
So this spring I got a turkey, his beard was 9-1/2" and he had matching 1-1/4" spurs (measured along the curve with a seamstresses measuring tape). How old would you say he was?
