Any idea what a mini 14 chambered in a 222 is worth, i know they are fairly rare but are they desirable? A low and high end value would be appreciated if someone has some actual knowledge on this chambering.

Thanks in advance!

Is that a factory version? Very rare in North America. Most of the few made were for European markets.
Do you have pics and date of Mfg?

Well the mini 30 and mini 14 are about 1200 newish 650-1000 used so I'd imagine a rare caliber would be worth like 1100-1500 buyers market type thing. If you had the box and papers and it was in excellent shape I would say if you could find a buyer maybe higher but I'm just speculating

I have never seen one before, can you post some pics so we can see?

Back in the 90s I saw a 243 version that is very rare...wish I took a picture...

for your 222 I would say its worth 900-1100 depending on serial number range and finish of the gun.

The XGI was to be made in .308 and .243 but never got past the proto-type stage I'm guessing? ..........have seen the .222 version...........most aren't accurate enough for hitting small varmints way out there anyways...........Harold

There were a bunch of .222 minis which were imported into the US. There are many jurisdictions where military cartridge chambering a are illegal. I believe Frence is one as well as several South American countries.
