Now i see how the rcmp can classify a 12ga as a handgun...

I guess it fits the more strenuous definition of pistol too - its still one chamber that's always in line with the barrel lol

You could purchase an action and build a pistol... then have your gunsmith verify and contact the CFO to register it as a pistol.

Its a neat looking gun regardless, not too many ranges that have a 1000 yard range to use. But I guess you could shoot it at a 100 yards just as well.
