The reason I put crimp was because original case has a .311 bullet and once pulled and installed a .308 bullet, it is very loose.
To safely hold the bullet, I crimp it. But as the full crimp is very strong, deforming the bullet, I crimp it lightly, and "controlled by feeling". I might wrong about that but this time crimped group is bad, as bad as the surplus.
Interesting is that my 5 shoots surplus group has three touching holes and two flyer that are about 2 inches away. If I don't have that two additional, I will be amazed by the three touching holes. All depend on luck.
