nice , If there reloads, you should consider shooting them in a bolt action. these rifles don't do so well ,with some peoples reloads.

I hate to be a "wet blanket" but the bayonet is for a German Mauser (most likely a Kar 98k) and not for the FN Model 49.
who cares it fits nice and solid!!
Only those of us who knows what the correct one looks like. I liken it to putting Marilyn Monroe into a potato sack, it works but it works a lot better if she is in a swim suit.
im well aware of what the original looks like
took all of 4 seconds on google
i liken it to being able to take marilyn out of her potato sack and givin her a go as to just looking at her in a swim suit!
rephrase! i would rather have marilyn in a sack then nothing at all!!
marilyn in the sack!! hehehe
Have a FN -49 which I bought 35 years ago and its just sitting in the safe. Wanting to sell what do you think I should list it for on the exchange. I put about 50 rounds threw her in total before that it looked to be new or unissued if that's the term.

Nice to see some more Portuguese surplus 8mm! I'd never seen any here, then got a sealed box a few weeks ago. Then you got one. Supposedly some of the finest 8mm surplus ever. Made by FN
