Where is the cheapest place to purchase those plastic ammo boxes for handloads online?

I got 10 on eBay, I think it was $6 a box shipped out of the states. They're 100 round boxes, mine are clear, bunch of other colours though. I'm sure it was Berry MFG. I'm reloading 300blk so I typed "300 blk ammo box". Hope this helps.

Edit: Looks like they're $7 shipped now.

Just for the heck of it I looked I Fleabay as well. For what they want I think that's about what I've been paying at the local gun shops down here in the Fraser Valley.

If you're doing this be sure to buy the MTM boxes that have the proper hinge. The other popular blue box uses a one piece top and base with a thin flex hinge. They suck. Two of the 8 or 9 I've got have started ripping along that hinge from the cold weather and even when good and when soft in the heat they still want to self close. Pay the extra buck or so for the MTM with the separate top and bottom that have the free moving snap together hinge. You'll have them for the rest of your shooting days after all.

When you come to town next time Reliable has the right ones as does Wholesale in Langley.

Those flappy ones have a 5 year warranty, the hinged ones have a 10 year warranty. FYI

The flappy one that is split about a third of the way along the hinge is likely around 5 years old.

I'm so stoked with the proper hinge style MTM's that I've already got the flappy hinge boxes on my To DO list for conversion of some sort. But it's one of those things WAY down the list.

Hate to say it but I have always found that Lebaron's has had the best price for the MTM boxes.

My personal best score was at a yard sale, they literally had an apple bushel basket full of 38/357 and 44 boxes. 50 cents each. The guy didn't even know what they were for, just got them from his deceased brother in laws place. Took the whole basket for $3.

I like the RCBS ones.....they also have the proper hinge and are flush fronted so they shelve much nicer than the MTM. But of course, they are about double the price..............

Ammo boxes are one of those things you buy a couple of every time you go to the gun store. Skip the Timmy's for 2 days and you just paid for a couple more boxes.
milsurp 50 cal metal ammo boxes work great for bulk.

I got tired of buying them....now I use Tupperware, or Ziploc baggies lol.

Medium freezer bags are what I use. The value of spending several dollars each on boxes plus extra labour filling the boxes (as opposed to dumping the contents of my Dillon's Akro bin into a baggie) just isn't there for me.

One of those vacuum sealers would also work well for bulk ammo packaging if you have one handy.
