Kel-Tec SU-16 models and options.

Has anyone seen one of these https://www.reliablegun.com/en/kel-...w4-position-collapsible-stock-wa2-flash-hider model SU-16s without the stock conversion done to it? Or one with the stock mounted using the higher mount?

I'm wanting to get an SU-16 with the pistol grip done to it but that model and all the ones I have seen like it have the stock mounted using the lower mount with nothing saying the higher stock mount comes with it and I have not seen them for sale anywhere either.

The reason i wanted that model was because of where the front sight is and the threaded barrel, I looked at some other models to do the conversion myself and they all have the front sight post on the barrel and no threaded barrel.

Have you held one? $1200 is a wee bit more than I would spend on one...regardless of the NR classification.

+1 i would prefer a t97 over the su at that price, or ssave up for an xcr or tavor

I've seen cheaper ones, and doing it myself would be more like 1000 if I can find one I like with the front sight where'd I'd like it but that doesn't seem like it'll happen. That was just the link I had open.

Just want to make sure you've seen one in person. I have a good friend who has one, seems to really like it, but he never shoots it. The first time I picked one up I could sum up my reaction as... I'll concede I'm a bit prejudiced as I cut my teeth on old school Battle Rifles, but I'm not against polymer, the SU-16 just feels like a toy not a rifle.

I personally feel they are crap i like nothing about them did not even want to shoot it just not my kind of rifle .

Yeah I`ll be sure to get a hold of one before I commit I was just wondering if anyone here knew anything about the rifle variations because the one I linked seems to be the one I like best
