Info on my Remington 700?

Just interested in finding out a bit more info and a
Value on my Remington 700 in 22-250.
I think it's an ADL? There's a glare on the barrel that looks like bluing loss but it's not.

Unfortunately, not a lot. Going rate for BDL and CDL is 600 give or take. All depending on condition, model and how much someone want is, ADL is probably a little less.

I just sold a BDL .300 WM to my hunting partner (purchased it while he was away with him in mind). Close to 90%. DM kit with two mags. Mounts and bases. Scope was there but crappy. Paid 600, sold it for 600.
 
At first glance we can see that it's a Pre '83 ADL. In '83 the ADL's got cut checkering.
That rear sight style was used until about '74., so it's pre '75.
There will be a two letter date code on the left side of the barrel just ahead of the receiver.

I put value on that one at about $450-500 without the scope.
 
Your rifle is a Remington 700 ADL. Give us all the letters in sequence from left to right that is on the barrel, just ahead of the receiver. Sometimes, there may be repairs done, so will have extra lettering.
 
Does that numbering to find the date of mfg. also apply to older Remingtons like a 721 for instance ?
I've read the charts but still cannot figure it out..

Was the scope being included in the price?
I was thinking $400 . . . scope, rings and sling included.

This puts it into perspective. Value at about a new Axis. I would pick yours.

Along this line there is a nice looking .222 with an irrelevant scope at Accuracy Plus in P'boro for $500.

$400 is low. A bare action of that vintage will go for $400 all day long. Bare rifle should be $450-$500.

You can set your buying and your selling prices at what ever you want... but that really has no bearing on what others may choose to do...
