Who is quarterbacking this?..... I think it's a great idea...... In fact, I am willing to up my game here if I know there is someone that can get these rifles into worthy hands.....
i think the best is to wait when Fort Mac guys are going home and the ones that still have home will deal to help us in receiving and sharing what they will get. a member from here will be a good idea?
I think stubbljumper would make a good fit...... If he or someone else is willing to ensure the rifles are going to good homes, I am willing to offer way more than I offered previously......
Once the people that still have homes are back in their homes , I will check with my friends in the city and find out who lost their firearms and belongings. At that point I am willing to provide names and addresses that I know for a fact lost their firearms and hunting supplies, and that aren't trying to scam anyone.

Thanks...... So here is my offer......
I have two slings and two sets of scope rings to offer up as I stated earlier...... Plus ammo for two of the rifles offered up so far.......
If I have a "partner" to see that I am on the up and up, I am willing to take in rifles, mount the optics using a torque screwdriver and provide free of charge a hard case and trigger lock so it all arrives legal and good to go........ Also, shipping to the recipient will be on me......

I don't know....do you think we can trust Old Stubby with this?
Sounds good to me. He probably knows as many folks there as anyone, and we know him.
The 30-06 from me will be a gift, not a loaner, and he will have a better idea as to who really needs and appreciates it.
How about it Stub, you on for that?
Ted
I think that's fair stubblejumper...... My point is that there are quite a few rifles that will need "built"..... As I think a package delivery is best...... At the very least, we need someone to organize the packages...... Even with Ted's offer, someone would get a rifle from him, a sling and 3 boxes of ammo from me and a scope from Phil...... Not saying that someone should be you.... If you are identifying recipients, you have more than done your part......
But someone needs to receive all of these packages, put them together and send them out.......kickass food baskets if you will..... Lol
Same here. for the .270

there is a chance that the Yukon will leave for good with the scope already on it ....
and of course the two scopes are gone for good.
Ok.. In the interest of keeping this easy, I will donate a new 10/22..... Easier than trying to ship out bits and pieces...... Will just buy it from the good folk at Prophet River and send it out directly to the new owner when identified.......
