Mossberg MVP Patrol 7.62/.308 chambered rifles back in stock. These are able to accept both M14 and SR-25 pattern magazines including the XCR-M pistol mags, PMAG 308s, and Springfield M1A/Norinco M14 mags, which is a huge variety of options for cheap and reliable mags -- a true triumph of engineering :) It's very cool to see a pile of assorted mags all fit the same rifle, and the off-the-shelf availability of varieties of .308WIN is a huge boon to shooters of this caliber. You can definitely see the applications for a rugged rifle with a barrel profile that won't heat up and string rounds all over the place too quick.

All my stock / gi style M14 mags worked no problem, but the 10round E-Lander A1A M10 DO NOT WORK (but did with an M305).

What kind of issue to experience? Wondering if it is similar to the problem I had with LAR mags in my 556 version

The magazine will not seat .. and fall right out of the mag well (dimensions seem slightly smaller. I just sold off my M305 and all the mags so I'm sorry I can't check again to elaborate ( I tried all 5 E-Lander mags I had at the time ). All the GI 5 / 10/5 pinned and 20/5 pinned worked fine.
