It's been introduced a few months ago as the "Super Sport" model in Germany. Looks like the exact same revolver without the NH prefix and marks. Guess it's simply marketing to gain visibility in the US.

Also not a fan of the design, those picatinny slots on the barrel contours is yuk!

Also comes with a 9mm cylinder in Germany, is the NH version also has it?

Good find OP. Looks like they are also making a standard model called the Mongoose, that will be available in 5 1/4" and 6" barrels. Retail starting at 4500 cad. Be really curious to learn what the differences are between these and the full custom German models for 10K

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's just about the ugliest revolver second only to the chiappa Rhino. Sorry.

I'd say most Smith Performance Centre revolves take the prize for that. I definitely prefer classic too but I guess in fairness this is a purpose built comp gun.

I am a little confused....Are these actual German built Korth's sold with the Nighthawk name added as a US marketing strategy or is it case of Nighthawk striking a deal with Korth to use the Korth name on a Nighthawk built or sourced gun?

Looks like it is Korth's National Standard model rebadged, not their high end custom revolver that is frequently referenced here.

Yeah, I checked the Nighthawk site and it's not really clear if they are stock Korths with just the Nighthawk name added or if they are 'tweeked" the way the BHP's they offer at $2800 are.

They are probably just rebadged but I really don't know much about that Korth model to begin with. I have never seen it for sale here so can't gauge the price. I've only seen their really high end 'custom' revolvers at Wanstalls and Tiger Arms.

I love the Nighthawk HP but the tweaks seem mainly cosmetic so that is a steep price for sure.

Looks good from the barrel back…..IMO
What with the extended lever? I can see it getting in the way thumbing the hammer into SA(I use my left thumb)

that was my first thought as well..i would love to handle one to see how much of an issue it is
