New book on Mosin Nagant M91/30

Finally started reading the book. I thought I knew basics about 91/30, now I think I knew nothing. How about Max Geltz factory rifles on top of Tula and Izhevsk factories? First time I'm reading about this. So much information that I will have to re-read book couple of time to absorb it all. Great work, Ratnik!

Don't know if I'd send my Visa or Mastercard info to the Ukraine.
I've been buying Ukrainian stamps all the time for several years now with my Visa and Mastercard, at the Ukraine Post web site, with an average invoice amount of USD 20 to 40. So far, no issues.

I saw today on the website that the first (and only) printing is now 75% sold out. That promptly got me out of my usual state of procrastination and I placed my order today. Thank you kindly for your time and effort in putting this book together.

Do you have any plans to try and write similar books about other Soviet surplus firearms?

Yes, that's right. Near 100 books from 460 that were available for sale left. Reason that there will be no new printing is that I need to move further - currently I'm working at the book about PPS SMG's (at Russian). In future I plan to publish book about M91/30 in expanded time range (not only 1941-1945)

There is no sense to write anything about SVT - exists is a great book by R.Chumak (second edition will be published this year), that covers aspects of development, production, at use of SVT's. But it is in Russian

Just found out about this book and promptly ordered! I can't wait to read it!

+1 for anything about the SVT40 as well!

Maybe you could work in conjunction with him and put out an English translation!!! That would be awesome!!!

Ian

It's his project. Also, his book is published by publisher (company), and everything depends from it's decision. From my side I already talked with them few times about English version, but currently it is not in project.
