I'm looking for Magazine Catch Assembly or Magazine Catch Spring Guide by itself, but I cannot figure who sells parts. Trade Ex seems to be out of them.

A buddy has a wartime Soviet TT-33 that sometimes fails to re-#### itself when fired. Not sure what parts are worn IE sear /hammer ? Some of the parts packages are outrageous and it's cheaper to by a new gun.Harold

I also had this problem, it was caused by one of the parts being broken. I think It was the disconnector, but that was over a year ago now, and I can't remember.

When he swaps the trigger group from his Polish pistol ,it works flawlessly? Couldn't find any broken parts but I suspect something is obviously worn and not engaging............Harold

Most likely the main sear could be worn out and not catching the hammer. This could also be caused by a worn sear spring that needs to be replaced as the spring is not forcing the sear to engage the spurs on the bottom of the hammer when the slide forces the hammer back/down
If it's not the sear it could be the notches on the bottom of the actual hammer that are worn and thus not holding the hammer back.
Could be a combination of one or all three.

Does it #### when he pulls the slide all the way to the rear manually every time? If this is the case and you cannot duplicate the problem manually with positive full cocking of the slide, it may be a short stroking problem but unlikely due to blowback operation.
