100% sounds good! Nice Build!
I don't really think of it as a build, more of a replace almost all the parts... Ok, maybe it was kind of a build.
Thanks
Damn you guys! I keep trying to talk myself out of a 9 build, and then along comes this thread... Not to de-rail, but 7.5" or 10.5" is my only question.
I looked into doing a build before I found this deal and the cost was really high to buy all the parts needed. I've seen a few good deals come across the EE for a complete rifle and that's the way I'd go on a 9mm AR. There are a few expensive parts needed for a 9mm that you don't need on a 223 build that drives up the price.
For me it's always 12 inch or longer when it comes to an AR. I built a 6.5 inch 223 and have owned a 10.5, numerous 12 inch, a 14.5, 16, 18, and 20 and 12 is what I always end up coming back to with my builds and purchases. They just seem to be the most comfortable, Still compact but enough rifle you can still hold it like a rifle and not be scrunched up behind it.
Below are my AR's, 12 inch 9mm, 12 inch PWS, upper on the left is my 12 inch 300BLK build, upper on the right is my 12 inch dedicated 22LR, and the 16 inch is my attempt at a 3-gun build using an ACR barrel I had laying around. The carbon fiber forend on the 16 inch will get swapped out before I start beating it up throwing it into safety barrels though and the 1-4 would probably be changed out for an Aimpoint as well for 3-gun.
I was also thinking about using the 9mm for 3-gun since it's so reliable and I bought a CZ SP-01 to use, it would be nice to just need to pack 9mm when I go.
