Who in Canada sells a 1.5" recoil pad? I have a Brown Precision stock here with 13" LOP with a 1" pad and need another .500" overall. NECG sells them but the shipping is $50US.
Open to other options and/or suggestions.
I took a quick gawk through and didn't see them. We give it another look. Not sure what Brownells shipping policy is but they list them...........just looking at them in their catalogue yesterday.
WOW! .......... Sticker shock or what?Limbsaver Nitro is 1.5 at Del Selins in Vernon BC. Bought a grind to fit from there. He had several on the shelf.
Wholesale sports in Kamloops had a couple to but $94.00 ea.
I can shoot with 13.5" LOP no prob. The stock I have has been cut short. It had a 1" pad and is only 13" LOP.taller guys are paying more .... Paul imagine if you needed left hand actions ....
Prob just go with a 1/2" spacer and a 1" pad.
Anyone have a line on 1/2" spacers here in Canada?
Uhm........ didja furgitt the flippy-flawpy tread?

Would a spacer from a Ruger Scout or Guide Gun work?. They're 1/2" and light.
ThanksThe Scout is 4-3/4" long, but the widest point is only 1-1/2".
The most cost effective material that would have good benefits for the purpose might be the rubber matting used for truck beds. It's usually 1/2", durable, easy to work with, recoil absorbing potential and is cheap.
Upon your suggestion, I realized that I have a small pc of exactly that. It will work fine and is 1/2" thick. The most cost effective material that would have good benefits for the purpose might be the rubber matting used for truck beds.
