Ordering magazines from the states

They have to be exported by a licensed US exporter and they have to conform to Canadian law before they cross the border but yes it is possible to order them from the US.

As long as it's a legal mag as in 10rds or less and the seller is licenced to export. I have bought 10 rd mags from Numerich for my prohibs all the time

Be careful - there is case law showing successful prosecution of someone who received prohibited-capacity magazine components - just the mag boxes - he evidently wanted to save some $$$ and pin them himself...arrested when he picked up the package.

depending on the mags. from brownells, 1911 & Mec-gar(10-round only) are no issue. they don't have licenses for most of others and they don't pin mags.
IRG can get anything and do pin the mags.

Has anyone ordered and received mags from the States without any hassle? Thanks in advance

Brownells will not export mags with a capacity larger than 10rnds internationally.

One weird thing I noticed on my last order a couple weeks ago, I requested International Priority USPS as usual but it got sent out via UPS Mail Service for $9.30US. So either UPS has a new, cheaper service like USPS that Brownells started using or someone in shipping fracked up my USPS request and I'm bracing myself for a $50. brokerage fee. Supposedly getting delivered this week... argh!

Often Brownells cannot export because another business has an agreement with the manufacturer for export of the product. Nothing to do with laws or regulations, strictly commercial.
