any one ever join and converse in that group? I attempted it. Posted a few things, got climbed all over by the admins and threatened with being banned a couple months ago for asking a question about legally importing reloading components into Canada from the US. Any forms i might need to fill out, people who i could call etc. So i deleted that post. Didn't get an answer. All i got was a talking to by the admins for asking that sort of question. It left a sour feeling with me but i never really thought about it agin, didn't have any reason to go ask anything since and never really thought about it. Then today i asked what bullets the members suggest for use in a Savage axis with a 22 inch 1:9.25 twist barrel and the post got deleted a few minutes later for some reason by Facebook. So then I figured it must be the gun talk. I mentioned the word rifle and the word bullets. The words must have triggered something. So i posted again with a picture of the engraved info on the side of the barrel. Calibre, rifle make etc and got jumped all over and yelled at (with caps) for posting pictures of a firearm. So i deleted the post and left the group. Oh my god what a bunch of weird, off balance bunch of Fuds. I am left sitting here angered and saddened at the same time. Because we should be helping each other. Not making the hobby undesirable and un necessarily complicated. I help people whenever i can. I send parts sometimes free of charge. Help with whatever knowledge i may have to offer. I have never judged someone by the type of firearm they want to use or what they wanted to do legally with their property. Why do people have to turn on each other like that over something so innocuous.

Why do people want to live their lives on Facebook?
I prefer to discuss things with likeminded people.
If I want to talk Mustangs I go on a Mustang forum. If I want to talk guns I go on gun websites such as these.
I have a Facebook account also but its just to see what my cousins in the USA and Europe are up to.
I bought a car part on Amazon the other day and a window opens up asking if I want to post it on Facebook.

The connection between all major websites including Facebook, Google, Amazon, etc. are going too far eroding the little privacy we have left.

7. No photos of firearms allowed in group.

And as i learned today... Not even pictures of firearm parts. Nice worth while group to be a member of. Might trigger someone if they see a particular skeery gun.

I don't belong in liberal safe spaces. So i left.

Not getting answers in the reloading sub forum on here? I also like thefiringline and ar15 dot com for the reloading forums

Exactly. Time to read the rules. It is a reloading group not a gun/gun parts group. Lots of good people on there.

The picture was of the info portion of the barrel that i was looking to find the best possible bullet for. then people started acting like i was about to light a cigarette next to a gas leak. Everyone piling on writing in caps "NO PICTURES!!!" I realize there are good people in there but there are also FUDS.

I joined the "Reloading Central" Has 27,000 members. The one I left because of the no picture thing has 3000. Better off in the other group. They like pictures.

Facebook is no place for a conservative. The fact that posting a picture of a hunting rifle is a "trigger" for the liberals was enough for me to leave facebook a few weeks ago. No point in arguing with people with their head in the sand.
Facebook is completely anti gun, it's best just to stick to CGN and related forums for reloading / gun related discussions.

You do realize that facebook has initiated a pogrom against firearms groups and has been for months deleting those with even a whiff of buy/sell activity.

These guys are trying to keep their group from getting nuked is all.

I was blocked by the main admin "Mark" because he chose to stick up for a member who had a random mental breakdown on me. Claimed I was hacking him and all sorts of nonsense. Craziest thing I have experienced on the Internet.

This doesn't surprise me. If you are not friend with the admin and have a disagreement with him... The group is not inclusive at all either.

Edit: because people will make assumptions, I do follow the rules and I am still in the group. However I can say I observe and this is how the group appears to me.
