Let's see some pic's of your SxS's & O/U's

Here are some of the field guns...

Top is a Browning BSS 20 gauge, straight English stock with oiled walnut and 28" barrels.
Middle is a Browning Citori 525 Field 20 gauge with 28" barrels.
Bottom is a Browning Citori 625 Field 12 gauge with 28" barrels.

I am proud to say that I am now the owner of a box that I believe one of these came in..... Unfortunately HC forgot to include the shotgun, but I was very happy with what came in its place..... :)

Love the pics in this thread..... Has me itching for a 20 gauge side by side.....

Brian, excellent job saving that Clabrough from wall hanger status. Sean and Chris did some beautiful work.
My photography sucks though (likely the camera's fault) as it looks way better in hand. The bores are quite nice for the year. Some very very minor pitting in a couple of spots which one should pretty much see in a gun this age. Having been stung once on a 110 year old gun with "mirror bores", I now cringe if someone tells me the bores in an old gun are "perfect" or "mirror bright". 9 times out of 10 if they are like that they have been honed which can quickly render a set of barrels unsafe or out of proof by British standards. Such was the case with that one gun I had. This gun was measured and the barrels are fine and Sean believes never honed.

More British guns have been ruined by honing than by volume shooting.
You just need to be assiduous with cleaning slightly pitted guns.

An articulated trigger guard would be nicer, LOL! I know a number of guys who are rather prone to banging their large knuckles against the metal and still don't bother installing that small rubber buffer. :)
