Turn around time for a recalled Remington 700

My Remington 700 SPS Tac .223 is under the recall. What is Gravel's turn around time for the work to be done? I live in Toronto.

All joking aside I've seen coyotes in Brampton/Georgetown area often enough.

LOL.... they are on the balcony.... hahaha. I wish. I get very weird concerned looks when the wife and I are going down the elevator all cammed up with shotguns going out for waterfowl or turkeys.

just got mine back, took less than 3 weeks

Called last year and they said up to 6 months, so I upgraded to a timney trigger. Nice and crisp now.

Is it just to have the trigger fixed? Buy a $159 trigger tech and call it a day. After putting one in my 700 its all i will use in my 700s.

Dropping nearly 25% of the cost of the rifle to repair something that is wrong from the factory isn't the right move unless you planned to upgrade the trigger anyway.

call Gravel....they got mine fixed withing a week(3 days).
Took 2 days to ship it to them and about 3 back.
all together less then 2 weeks.
very satisfied.

Mine was just a couple weeks, and I'm really impressed with how it feels, super light, and crisp. I really don't see a need to drop $150 or more on a trigger for this now. There would be better places to put that money.

I was in the same boat with my SPS as it's trigger was under the recall. Instead of waiting a couple weeks to a few months to get my gun back in working order, I just opted to get the Trigger Tech trigger and drop that in. While I do agree that it's a bit much to have to fork over a nice chunk of change in order to safely use something that should have been working from day one, it was a choice that I don't regret. The factory 700 trigger was nice, but the Trigger Tech trigger is way ahead in terms of feel and adjustability. Zero regrets here.

Gravel had my SPS for one day before sending it back. They even cleaned it and set the trigger so nice I don't need to touch it. Awesome job.
