I've offically sourced everything I need to reload .40 S&W for my glock 22, RTF2.

I've ordered:

1000 S&B .40 S&W cartridges some time ago, I've been saving my once fired brass. (GoTenda)

500 CCI small pistol primers (cabellas)
Lee classic precision turret press (Cabellas)
.40 S&W deluxe 4 carbide die set (cabellas)

1000 bullets FMJ TC .400 (x reload)

Titegroup powder 1lb (goTenda)

I've recieved great service from goTenda and cabellas alike so far. I'm heading offshore now tomorrow, so when I get back everything should be here for me to start reloading. I'd like to thank everyone on this forum for helping me get started and answering my questions. I'm a bit nervous about using reloads in my .40 glock, but I'm sure if I'm careful it will be fine. I plan on keeping all my rounds charged with the minimum possible! Who else shoots reloads out of their glocks?

Thanks again everyone!

Glocks are just another pistol and all my pistols eat reloads. Welcome to reloading - I think you'll enjoy being free of the endless hunt for ammo (replaced by the endless hunt for cheap components).

Dont reload all of them at the base charge. I do 10 rounds of different charge weights and work up. Lowest loads wouldnt cycle for me. Imagine pulling 990 bullets...

Haha will do! Is it easy to remove squibs if I get one from too low of a charge at the range? And the case on my g22 RTF 2 dosent look to be all that unsupported at all..there's a little there but really not much!

if you want to save some extra, you could also buy the dominion small rifle primer from canadaammo which is cheaper(3 cents vs 5 cents).

Titegroup is a very dense or low volume powder. It's one I really like for that reason and because it's clean burning.
Always look in each case to ensure it hasn't been double charged.
You didn't mention a powder measure or scale in your gear.

Erm... congrats, welcome to the asylum! Make sure you also have a caliper, a balance, a powder funnel, a kinetic bullet puller... :)
