3 Gun shotgun recommendations?

Considering getting into 3 gun as well and kinda wanna pick a cheaper starter shotgun. Anyone have used or thot about a utas uts 15 for 3 gun?? Kinda a ugly shotgun but I like the idea of a bullp up shot gun but don't wanna fork out 1000 plus for a KSG

I bought one of these... the way I figure it,.. if im going to loose, im going to loose in style lol

Mine's a 16" barrel (CHOKED) and only holds 5 shotshells :( its uber comfy to shoot though, and absolutely deafening.

I'm going to be running the Deyra MK10 for my matches this year. I'm new, not sure what to expect but I'm just going to have fun anyways. Mine's been rocksteady and reliable, so there's that.

Have you taken it out yet? How did it perform? I'm looking to get into 3 Gun and was also looking to get the MK10 and would appreciate any feedback or thoughts on your experience using the Mk10.

Cheers!

I'd rather throw rocks than run a 5 round pump shotgun.

Neither of those are a good choice. Actually, the UTAS is a terrible choice. Have you seen how they load?

'Had a guy shoot one of our shotgun matches with an UTAS...

It did not go well for him.

If these types of gimmicky guns were so great for 3gun you'd expect to see 'em being used by the top shooters in the game...

You don't.

If you don't have one of those guns you are not going to win any substantial 3gun match in Canada.

Sorry, that's just the way it is.

The good news for those of us that hate it when its an equipment race, is that when it comes to 3gun shotguns, the _modifications_ you personally make to yours are more important than your choice from that list. But it still has to be on that list.

Gonna have to call :bsFlag: on that one.

Having good equipment can help someone get to the next lever faster, but isn't a replacement for skill.

I know a number of people that can use guns not on your list and still win.

I see lots of talk about the Browning A5 becoming very popular for 3gun south of the border. Any experience with it in the great white north?
