Ive always wanted to pick up one of those GSG 110rd mags for my 10/22 but ive always found them to be too $$ and i didnt trust their reliability.
my wife surprised me with a early Fathers Day present today, she came home from shopping and had seen the mag at the LGS on sale and picked it up for me.
Ive been home with a hurt foot for 2 days and i guess she thought i needed something to cheer me up.
i must admit, there is definitely a testosterone release when you seat that mag into the gun!
took it out to the range, it was about what i figured it would be for reliability, 10 rounds, stick, 10 rounds, stick ect ect ect.
i need to look a little more into them to see if im suppose to tighten that wheel as i go, seems to me that the spring isnt keeping up to the feeding.
but, for a gift im not disappointing at all, real hoot!
and it just looks so aggressive and appealing in the gun!

Ive found that the 110 round mags have to be loaded carefully to work properly, advance the drum just enough to place the next round in. If you have wound it up empty and let it go back on its own it will mess up the spring inside and cause problems.
I took mine apart and rewound it, since then its worked excellent.

ya i think i was cranking it too much when i was loading it.
and i may..... may have cranked it a couple clicks when it was empty before i read the instructions..... so ya..... i might have to take the puppy apart.
 
I have one, I love it so much. Mine feed very good for 300 rounds after that, I need to clean up the feed lip, spray some G96 to the tiny hole (You have to read the manual on that) then I'm ready to rock again, I love it so much and bought another one yesterday.
 
Nice wife you have there. I found with my GSG drum, to get it to start feeding properly I needed to keep it loaded for a week to help loosen up the spring a little. I've had no issues since.
