Good day gentlemen!

I'll skip my silly reasoning for asking such a question and get right to it.......

What centerfire bolt action rifles come to mind when looking for rear locking lugs? Is it a really short list?

I know of 3 examples (Lee enfield, Norinco JW-105, Remington 788), but only 2 of those can be had in .223. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Nikko golden eagle, Sauer 90 and the Colt clone... French MAS etc I am pretty sure there are others with rear lugs...Tikka M65 has rear lugs (as well as front ones) the Newton has rear AND front lugs, and numerous .22 rimfire lockup on the root base of the bolt handle (also at the rear) probably many more I will think of later....(I have a dim recollection of an early military bolt..not LE..that was also a rear locker)....as for. 223 ... who knows.. edit to add: ... forgot..the Anschutz '54' action is a rear locker and is also made in centre fire calibres...and the CG Inch target action is a rear locker
