M&P 40SW mags

Hi folks, sorry if this has been asked already but I wanted to know if I can load 9mm in a 40SW mag and shoot on my M&P9? I have done this with my Glock but was wondering if anyone knows if it can be done with the M&P as well. Thanks in advance.

Yes but expect some hicups, you'll find the slide locks back on the second last round. You'll have to manually release the slide to chamber the final round as the follower sits higher. It's not flawless, I'll see if I can find a post about it with some comparison pics.

Not with mine. I had to heat the lips and bend them in a bit.
