Anyone found what works best for cleaning up a brand new magazine?

It came out of the wrapper with a 'cosmoline plus' grease on it. So far, brake cleaner, simple green, CLP, and acetone are not taking it off. Open to suggestions .....

Thanks!

Boiling water has always worked for me , get the the water as hot as possible and melt the cosmoline right off the parts . Because the water is so hot your parts dry fast but a good blast of compressed air helps dry them fully . Good luck

Don't forget to polish the inside of the feed lips, most are pretty sharp and rough.
A bit of oil and 600 grit, and your rounds will feed smooth.
