270Win XTR Featherweight for
400$ turned into a bit of a love affair for me. It comes to shoulder more precisely than anything else I have owned and I really like the action. I had the trigger worked on a little bit prior to all of this cosmetic stuff so it was very crisp and clean on the break. I managed to get very lucky on a lightweight Wildcat Composites stock for it from a kind member on the EE, the stock was rough cosmetically with chipped paint and scratches but functioned fine for
100$
I ended up having the entire rifled action, bolt and Talley LW rings
60$ Cerakoted McMillan Grey.
100$ I then went ahead and had the stock hydro dipped in Kuiu Vias.
150$ I am sure its not everyone's taste, but then again, not everyone's rifle. Over the moon with it, and exactly what I had envisioned. Leupold Scope to top it off
300$
All in, a hair over 1000$ scoped.
