Does the 7mm08 deserve its reputation as a "girl's" gun

This thread has me thinking 'bout girlie guns.
Wifie is all set to do the PAL course this weekend.
A bit 'cited, she is.

Maybe I'll test the 7mm-awd ate with her and see if it is in fact
in deed a girlie gun.

Awww, I'll start her with a water gun and wartch trigger control, then
step up to an old 22 I don't use.
She jest might take a hankering to it and pewf, gawn.

Don't get me wrong. I hunt with a friend that shoots a 300wsm. I like what it can do and if I ever buy something more than my 7-08, the 300wsm will be first on the list. I am definitely not against the bigger calibers and magnums. Just don't tell me what animals I can't or shouldn't hunt with it. I know what my limitations are with it and I am ok with them.
 
With the possible exception of the large bears the 7mm-08 remington is a good choice for all normally hunted north american big game animals.

If you can't kill it with the 7-08 you're having an off day! :)

My wife got her PAL a few years ago...just about the same time some of my guns started to "disappear". Wandered into the sewing room the other day to find two of them propped up in the corner, one a rifle, the other a shotgun. Hmmm...

Me: "Looks like you acquired some guns"
She: "Yup"
Me: "You wanna try the 7-08?"
She: "Nope...too girly" :)
