Are there any details as to the load out and any ammo restrictions yet? Is bi-metallic non-steel core still banned? Can we offer to cut one open right in front of you LOL?

Emails just went out a couple of hours ago to all registered shooters with load out details. And yes, bi-metallic ammo is still banned (range rules, not Galt3gun's).

The weather looks great for both Friday evening and all day Saturday. Spots still available if anyone is interested in signing up for an awesome 3 gun match. New shooters and veterans alike are welcome!

Magnetic ammo? WTF is that?

Magnetic ammo is shorthand for ammo that has a ferrous component. Shooters who registered for the match were given more specific instructions: "Any ammo that has a projectile that sticks to a magnet is not allowed. If you have this ammo on you at any time during the match you will be disqualified and sent home".. They were also given explicit instructions during the safety briefing that this ammo was not permitted and were given the opportunity to check their ammo on our magnets BEFORE shooting...And yet two shooters shot our targets with this ammo and were DQ'd. No apologies.

I feel your pain Rinningfool...

'Had three brand new MGM steel poppers ruined by some dolt who couldn't or wouldn't follow directions re. steel core ammo.
It's fascinating how some guys haven't a clue what they're feeding through their guns.

Wasn't me! I can't hit steel

To be specific they were armour piercing incendiary rounds.
Manufacturers spec sheets didn't say "steel" so I figured they would be ok.
Your directions weren't specific enough.

If I'd had known you would be whining about it so many years later....
