So yesterday my wife and I drove to the city for some shopping and a BBQ at a friends place. We made our usual stops, Cabela's, Wholesale Sports etc. Then we decided to stop by North Pro Sports. And there it was! A beautiful Citori 725 Sporting. I shouldered is and it literally felt like the gun was part of me. Holy cow! I never pickued up a shotgun that felt like that! I was holding, drooling and beginning to tear up because I would soon be handing it back to the salesman. That's when I noticed, through my tears, that my wife had a smile on her face. :confused: This is odd when I am holding a gun in a gun store. Lol

My wife then surprised me and said "Happy fathers day". Well I almost fell over!

So now I am the proud owner of this beauty. Let me tell you, I definitely have one awesome wife!

And I have to give a big shout out to CGN biz member North Pro Sports. They were great to deal with and they gave us 10% off because my wife is in the the military and that's what we would have got had we bought a gun at Cabela's or Wholesale Sports. We really appreciated that. What an awesome thing for them to do.

Very nice, I have the 725 field and absolutely love it. You are a lucky man to have a wife like that.
 
Does this mean you have to change your user name? Or does 686 mean S&W instead of Beretta. ;)

Good choice on both the gun & the wife.;)

I have a 725 Sporting in 12ga. They are fantastic guns.

I too have a great wife, some years ago she bought me a Browning 1885 BPCR rifle in .45/70 as a birthday gift.:)

I feel sorry for the guys who feel they have to hide their gun purchases from their wives. :(
