HI looking to get a jr carbine or a cx4 storm. Just a fun 9 mm to shoot. What do you think is better? At first I was jr. Then after some research I was thinking the beretta. Or is there any other carbines that I do not know of?

There are several other carbines to consider as others will tell you about shortly. I only have experience with the two you are interested in. My preference is for the cx4.

Thureon Defence. Swap out the trigger (any AR style) if the factory one is not to your liking and you should be GTG. Take down for cleaning on these is about as easy as it gets.

Had the JR, sold it. Kept the TD carbine. Love it... takedown is a breeze and accepts AR style parts/furniture. The Storm is supposed to be very good but I never liked the looks of it...

I had a JR (just sold it to be replaced with an AR) I loved it! Put several different brands of ammo through it, always the cheapest I could find and never had an issue with it. If I had to make one complaint, it would be taking it apart. Kind of a pain but once you have the hang of it, not so bad.

I have shot the CX4 and while it shoots fine, I wasnt a fan of how it felt. I went with my buddy to try and find a scope for it and he had a hard time finding one that fit between the 2 lumps on the top of the gun. In the end an AR style scope would have solved it but he wanted more magnification.

Awesome ya the reviews I read had the same issue with jr hard to take apart. But you can swap from 9mm to 45acp easily. The storm is easy to take apart but the scope issue. Hmm anyone have any experience with mounting a good scope on cx4?

Mine is in 40 and has only been fed hand loads that I also run thru my G22 and I have never had any FTF or FTE. Inserting a full mag on a closed bolt will seem a little tough at first but it is really not that big a deal. I shot a friends JR for a bit but found it way to toy like for me. The only thing that would make the TD even better is if we could have a shorter tube, say in the 12" range. Accuracy if I do my part, I have no trouble keeping a full mag into a loonie size group @ 50yds on a sand bags. For optic, I have an Aimpoint Pro on top. All in all, it's a great pistol carbine with really nothing I would change.
Thureon Defence looks awesome. How is the realability and accuracy?

If you are a person concerned with details, the fit and finished on the cx4 is top notch. Not everyone is crazy about the storm's looks however everyone in Canada cannot dispute the merits of the fact it could use the 96 magazine!

I have prety well owned them all and the one I kept is the sub 2k 2 gen.
Don't get me wrong TD and storm are nice solid guns and function well but for me having the option to fold up my sub 2 k is great.
Easy to clean and pack ,very light and it just works.

3700 rounds through it, accurate to 2-3 MOA at 50m, perfect reliability.
