Custom Press Handles

Having seen the various billiard ball after market press handles and having the affliction of always wanting to tinker with things, I have been looking for an idea. This old driver was just sitting around and I thought, hey that might work. A couple of hours of cutting, fitting, and refinishing, wallah. I'm not a big golf nut but for now it's something different. Any other custom ideas out there?

Should do a beer tap handle! I've seen guys do that to the shifter handles on their quads and such, looks neat!

I used to have a hurst pistol grip shifter in my old truck. '68 Mercury 250 4x4 300 straight six, not exactly Hurst material. I guess it was aluminum, it made your hand all black.

For a single stage that's a fun idea. I'd hate to use anything other than the most ergonomically correct shape on my progressive though. An odd shape or surface texture would be a near instant recipe for blisters and carpal tunnel issues.

When we used to run 3,000 rounds a day, we found that only a smooth round knob was easy on the hand.

Anyone have any experience with the roller type handles? I have a stock ball on my Hornady LNLAP and I wear a patrol glove if I'm loading more than a couple of hundred.

I have a roller handle on my Square Deal and balls on my RL550B and LnL AP and actually prefer the ball. It has a better "feel" of what the press is doing to my hand.
