They are not "pistol mags originally designed and manufactured for pistols chambered in .50 beo" if they started life as regular mags which were then modified or engraved/printed.
They are, and started life as beo mags
The ones that the RCMP said were prohib were the ones where a company took AR mags took them apart installed a new follower and glued them back together and claimed they were beo mags. No one has said toes mags are legal.
Note the distinction between using a .40 caliber factory 10 round magazine in a 9mm pistol.
What distinction?
And if you are arguing that the 50 beo is a pistol, then I would argue that it is not a "semi-automatic handgun that is commonly available in Canada".

Apparently the RCMP does not agree with you
