who carries new cz858? I'm looking for non-restricted fixed stock model. Are people not going to carry them any more? Any one know if Cabelas is going to stock them again?

the only people who had these was Wolverine Supplies. They won't have anymore in, and no one else was able to get their hands on a supply. so You only bet now is used/EE.
 
There won't be anymore new 858's. They're done. Wolverine sold the last rifles a little while ago. Pretty much your only chance on getting an 858 is the EE.
 
No more left, All parts gone. Factory retooled for new guns.

It sounds like CZ 858 production is dead for good.

VZ58 is fun tho, Not military tho so not really collectible. I shoot mine all the time.

there mght be some poor down on his luck brother selling his on the ee for a fair price, otherwise you're looking at a very long wait and/or a very high price on the ee

At one point people were scalping them for $1500-$2000, and actually getting it. Because, you know, fools and money.

I lucked out on the "3 hours of crashing website, click buttons and hope the sale goes through" lotto, but mine is in my "never to be sold" pile. I wanted it specifically because of the Redcoat Retard Syndrome that got it banned and then got the law changed in our favour. Kind of a symbol.

I'll keep it, and over the years shoot the rifling out of it (I figure it'll take 30-40K rounds to achieve). Then have it buried with me. Fack the gun grabbers.
