Lucky man. I love my 37 but I'd love it even more with a 13" barrel :) If anyone knows where I can find one please PM me.

He's using the Mesa Tactical stock adaptor. I'd recommend buying the adaptor alone and not the whole set so you can toss on your own stock and grip (I did the same with my Mossberg).

Well, I for one would like to know more about the Arwen. Does your buddy have ammo for it?
What firearms category does it fall into?
 
there was the one that StrangeDay was involved with got lost/stolen in shipping a few years ago. i believe then the "40mm rifled barrel weapons" all had to get registered with Controlled Goods as military items.

Biggest appreciable difference other than the name; older M37 has a 2 3/4inch receiver (not a 1976 introduction magnum model) M87 3inch receiver.

Which is somewhat confusing as now IIRC, all M37s of new manufacture come with a 3 inch capable receiver.
