I know!! The gun recently caught my attention. 22 magnum is a blasty, fast little bullet, but with non of the recoil. The 30 round mag looks to be the same size as any other centerfire pistol mag!
I used to have a PMR30. It was a blast to shoot (in more ways than one). In addition to being extremely fun it (or at least mine) had a surprisingly good trigger, the fibre-optic sights were great, but the real pay-off came in the fact that it had a muzzle blast the size of a small watermelon. At the time, I belonged to a range that was lit and was authorized to shoot after dark (a military 25m range), and after the sun set, everybody wanted to shoot the PMR30.
Don't let the magazines pinned to 10 rounds dissuade you, they are a lot of fun and you won't regret getting one.
This isn't mine, but this pic gives an idea of what to expect:
I love my PMR-30. I returned to shooting sports and bought it as a first gun. I still like to shoot it. It's also a great gun to introduce people to shooting. It would be wonderful to have full magazines. I would like the added weight almost as much as the full mag. Folks are surprised by how much bark the little sucker has. Ammo is not cheap though.
I have shot the Five-Seven though which is somewhat comparable. (And i shot it in the states with no mag limit which standard is 20 rounds, but you can get extended 30 round mags for it)
