New Glock= had a blast !!

Hi all,
I am a blued steel kind of guy and all my other handguns are the real steel thing. Now for some time, I have seen numerous people at the range with polymer pistolas and they seemed to enjoy them. So I recently bouht a brand new G17 gen4 (made in Austria) and I brought it to the range today.
Man that gun is fun! I shot 100 rounds and had a blast !!
Can it be that I am learning to enjoy plastic ?
Heck, I am even beginning to find it ###y.

I think my G21 (gen 3) is my favorite auto. My G17 Gen 4 is great, but 9mm just isn't as satisfying as 45acp. Perhaps if the magazine capacity limitations were lifted 17 rounds without reloading would put the G17 on top, I'm afraid I may never know.

I enjoy my Glock 17 gen4, one issue is I haven't been able to find a replacement RSA (recoil spring assembly) in Canada. US sellers won't export it to Canada, and the one supplier I found in Canada won't (or can't?) sell to civilians.

If anyone knows where to get one let me know!

Traded my Beretta 92 for a Glock 17 Gen 4, and liked it even less, till I found a good load and spent the day at the range with it.
With me, Glocks are an acquired taste, now I'm hooked and want more. Passed up Glock 23 at a fair price and regret it.

I have had a Glock 23 rtf 2 with me on my US road trip, I bought a prohib length barrel here which I'll just leave down here. I like the gun, but don't love it. I know it will go bang if needed.

I never understood why people think the glock is ugly. It's a clean, minimalist design. I actually like the square look. I don't own one because I can't shoot it for sh1t, haha.
