The FNS longslide (5") in 40 S&W is/was on sale for only $349. This includes 3 mags.

Various internet reviews, including Hickock 45 say good things about this pistol. At that price, what's not to like?

A Glock clone for less than half the price.

The OP said "is/was"...I'm thinking the emphasis on 'was' (feel free to correct if I'm mistaken). I did find them for sale at $349 a while ago at JoBrooks but nothing that cheap now. I did see one of the retailers listed above say $419 on their website but I didn't check if it actually was in stock.

Please dont mention anything more on the price, now Im looking for one :S. I was a just about to pull the trigger on a sks in cabelas since theyre under 250 all in, now ill be oohhing and aahhhing over this purchase too.

I got mine on Saturday from Italian Sporting Goods for $349, with 3 mags.

According to You Tube you can tune the trigger for a smooth take up and a lighter release; no extra parts required.

When it arrives, I will try to smooth and lighten it.

4000rds through my two-tone 9mm FNS-L and its still accurate and reliable, trigger has always felt good to me but its even better now after so much use, the break is good for striker fired and the reset is amazing, almost as good as my S.E. P226 with SRT!

For that price I would buy this gun again in a heartbeat over a glock 17, much better looking also.

I was at theh range last week and guy beside me was shooting a Berett 92fs so i was drooling of course, so he asks me what i was shooting and then we shot eachothers guns, afterwards he asked me, "can we trade?" Lol, he loved my FNS and said he was gonna buy one now instead of a glock.
