Yeah I thought there was one. I can't keep up with this place.

Either way, post pics of your target and precision rifles!

New to shooting and this is my first gun other than pellet guns. Still trying to find places where I can shoot regularly. Every club seems to be full and no new members. :-(

It's a Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in .243 and the scope is a Bushnell Elite Tactical 4.5-30x 50mm with 30mm tube.

What height of scope rings did you go with?

What scope is that?

Secozoom 5-50x75. Since I don't have anything with this magnification to compare it to, I will say it is fairly good and an excellent value for the price ($400cdn). The scope is stable, repeatable and has almost 50 MOA of adjustment (7.5 MOA per revolution, 1/8 click). If you turn the knobs it will return to zero without issue. Out to 40x the optical quality it is great; at max zoom you have chromatic distortion and the image is not crisp, but it is usable. I wasn't sure what it would perform like, but it did come with a money back guarantee. I could have got one with less power, but I wanted to be able to see the holes in the target without having to use a spotting scope. It has performed well so far with about 100 rounds through the gun.

Here is an image at about 44x of a 7" post at about 200 yds. It was a hazy/smokey day taken through a window. This picture doesn't do it justice, but I don't have any others.

Thanks for the review. It is good to hear that it is stable. I have been holding back on their ED version of the same scope.
