The Beretta CX4 Thread

Well I picked up a barely used NR CX4 with a bunch of accessories and I am already planning the long list of upgrades!

I want to try it out as-is from factory, but I may eventually upgrade the internals with SP stuff. Read nothing but good things about them.

Other Beretta parts/accessories I am interested in (PM if you have any):
MPN: EU00025 – Folding front grip 4 positions
MPN: C5C620 – CX4 Magazine Insert for PX4
MPN: C89210- CX4 Magazine Release PX4 series
MPN: EU00029 – Barrel shroud

Interested myself in the trigger upgrades. Wonder how hard it is to install it at home?

"Anybody run hollow points in these, any feed issues?"

No problem with anything I've used. Hornady TAP, Critical Defence, anything. Point of interest, the shots I've made at 25m form a ragged one hole group. This is one fantastic little rifle.

Thanks,
Really like mine so far, going to buy some hollow points next batch.

Now to see if she can dance...

What scope mount is that & who sells them?

Do you have any side pictures?

Just bought a cx4 9mm. Does anyone know where I can get accessories for in in Canada. I live in Toronto.

Looking for a stock spacer for it, and barrel shroud and maybe a few other things.

Thanks.

Eric.

Anything in the Beretta catalog must be ordered through a dealer. Dealers may not stock it, but they can order it. For non-catalog items, go direct through Stoeger Canada (call them). Dealers have told me items requested are out of stock while Stoeger (distributor) says they're in. I don't know what the stock spacer is classified as, but the PX4 magazine conversion kit was ordered directly through Stoeger.

Check with Al Flaherty's or call Stoeger first and they will tell you by phone.

Just got mine out today, 0 issues, Love how it handles and feels. Got a bunch of stuff I never expected with it so im super happy. Even standing quickfire its accurate.

Slips over and secured with set screws by the looks of it.....

Correct: there are two 1/4"-20, 1/8 Hex Socket, sunken brass screws on the underside of the shroud, near the back end of it, at the 5 o'clock and 7 o'clock positions. You can see the well for one of those in the first picture. There's a collar that surrounds the muzzle crown without interfering with it. The shroud is quite stable and solidly fixed, no rattling at all.

This is a pic from Moerse Lekker showing the vented shroud model and those screws:

I finally got to try my my CX4 in .40 S&W and out of the three CX4's I think I like the .40S&W best. Mind you I am biased because I have always enjoyed .40 s&w everything so take it for what it's worth. Just like my others, this carbine is fun to shoot and very accurate! I ran a total of 300 rounds of factory ammo TMJ & JHP's thru it this afternoon while sighting in my sparc and another 150 in a variety of reloaded CMJ, HAP and FMJ without issue. It feeds everything very well and never missed a beat.

All I need now is some more mags for it and I am set.
