my mag release is the opposite. its a bit tight, but not too bad. I figure I'll leave it alone as I figure it will loosen up over time.
as for shimming the trigger housing its easy peasy. The trigger housing is like a plastic bathtub that fits in the receiver. if you look carefully, you will find that it moves back and forth a bit due to tolerances and mass production. Front to rear movement. I figure that the trigger being pushed back by the finger will move the housing before it moves the trigger bits. If you work it, you will see the slop. So, I took a piece of card stock(business card etc) and cut it to fit the space between the housing and receiver. I cut it to just fit side to side and top to bottom, just enough so its not visible. it won't fall out or fall apart, at least in the near future. maybe in 20 years or so. And if it was metal, maybe it would wear out the plastic receiver or housing. And its free. I noticed less play in the trigger with this. your mileage may vary, but its free, so giver.
