New Derya Mk10

Mine run perfect on game loads. I tried it with extra power slugs then it started to fail. Took it back to the store and they fixed it quite fast transfer bar spread too much and it started to jam the action

Put my two cents in, very happy with my mk10! Put a vortex red dot on it and a bunch of mags for three gun shooting. The mag issues Id like to point out, the mags are three inch but the gun is designed for 2 3/4 shells, as indicated on the barrel. I found that i can pot the mag in on a closed bolt with 2 3/4 shells without problem but 3 inch shells cause feeding problems and jamming... just look at the indentations the bolt makes on the end of a 3 inch shell during feeding. More importantly I nearly blew apart the gas system shooting 3 inch slugs, over pressure at the piston. Keep feeding your mk10 1 1\4 oz hibrass and itll be happy. Mine doesnt cycle 1 1\8 oz target loads so well but it might need more breaking in.

I do believe the newer ones say to only use 2 3/4" shells and not 3" shells as there was supposedly some issues with using the 3". My mk10 says on the barrel 2 3/4, it doesn't have 3" on it anywhere.

What do you mean by "almost blew apart the gas system" ? I shot two boxes of 3 inch slugs today with no problems.

on mine it spread the transfer bars so it was causing friction on the receiver this in turn made it not eject and feed weaker ammo

specifically it pushed the piston out of the cylinder and blew the ring off the piston. i got a pic someplace ill post later...

Any permanent damage or just had to put it all back together? Good to know though, thanks - I'll hold back on any future slug use just in case. My barrel is marked as being for 3" as well as 2 3/4" so maybe there are a couple versions, even of newer shotguns, out there.

bill, this thing is made for slaughtering milk jugs and have found that 2 3/4 shells with 1 or 1 1/8 ounce slugs are perfectly adequate.

Our local annual "Zombie Shoot" put off by our IDPA club is not far off, it'll be great for that too I'm sure LOL!

I have a mk1919 which is kind of similar. I find the challenger handicap loads are the best bang for the buck.

Not a whole lot of selection in our little out of the way corner of the world, but going to try some Winchester target loads too for 8 bucks box/25.

How does the mk10 compare to the br99?
Is the derma worth the extra cash? Can't it run 10 round mags like the br99 from the pump version?
