Glock trigger

Google 25 cent glock trigger job

Other than that, you can get after market triggers, parts and trigger bars which significantly improve the trigger

Depends on what your opinion of upgraded is. To me, the best trigger for a Glock is a factory minus connector, hand polished internals and a factory smooth trigger shoe with the trigger safety sanded flush with the shoe.

Ditto on the 25 cent trigger job , polish all the metal to metal contact surfaces with flitz to a mirror finish on the trigger and trigger bar, Firing pin safety, locking block , trigger connector, the four metal tabs where the slide rides in the frame at the front and rear, and the firing pin. That will smooth up the action and trigger considerably and shave usually about a pound off your trigger weight. I do it to every new Glock I buy , if you wanna go further than that you can buy a lighter trigger connector from lone wolf

Beer budget: You can also add an extra power trigger spring (sounds backwards but the TS helps pull the trigger), a reduced power striker spring although you have to reduce in increments to be sure you still get reliable ignition with your chosen ammo. Reduced power striker block safety spring helps a tiny bit. The .25c trigger job as mentioned above, being careful not to round off edges or change shapes (ie: don't get impatient with a dremel). If you're a regular cleaning/maintenance kind of guy, use high quality synthetic grease on all the contact points you polish as well as between the trigger bar and frame on the right side. Don't do this if you're not going to clean regularly as it will just attract gunk. Springs are all available from Wolff and they sell/ship direct to Canada. Champagne budget: lots of options for complete drop in systems out there....

Are you the same Ray that just started IDPA at EOSC? If so, you should have tried my glock 17 which has a polished trigger installed.

1. .25 trigger job - autopolish from cdn tire (comes in toothpaste style packaging). polish all the internals to mirror finish. I also dabbed where metal touches other metal, and dry fired for about an hour or two (watch a show or movie) - then wipe off and clean.

2. 3.5lb connector

3. 6lb trigger spring

both the 3.5 connector and the 6lb trigger spring can be bought as a combo kit from LWD for 13 USD.

ZEV Fulcrum trigger kit.

I got a second hand Glock that the original owner bubba'd it with his dremel trigger job that made the gun borderline unsafe. Casey at TacOrd took bits of it to teach for his Glock armour class.

Don't you love that feeling, when you get a 'new to you' gun home, take it apart and all you can say is "Holy FKC"

I just put in a Zev V4 and a Wolf 6lb trigger spring in my G20. The Zev V4 blows, I mean, with all the hype about it I drank the coolaid and puked it up and out of my gun:p Anyway save your money and just get the $3 6lb trigger spring. Everything else is hype. Other than a heavy trigger pull which a $3 dollar spring will cure, Gaston built a good gun. YMMV.

3.5# connector, 6lb trigger spring, dry fired till everyone in the home tell you to STOP THAT.

Is stick with oem glock parts of possible. Found them at LWD. Not cdn but meh...

never seen a reliable Glock with aftermarket parts.
Just polish the OEM parts, do not replace any springs and enjoy the most reliable pistol in the planet.

I agree to a point, gun is very reliable however the the three dollar spring took the the stock trigger pull of 7.5lbs down to a comfortable 4 lb. BTW the only thing I like to polish is my knob when I'm extremely lonely:p

I agree. Taking a reliable firearm and throwing a bunch of stainless steel and other parts in it, only to watch it fail gets old quick.
Personally, i've only done the polish thing and throw a 3.5# connector. OEM extended mag release and OEM extended slide release / slide lock.
