Best reticle leveler ?

Hi, I want to buy a good reticle leveler.

I always used the Wheeler bubble levels to level my scopes but I would like to have something better.

What do you think of the Segway MKIII reticle leveler ?

Is there any other good options ?

I would also like to know where to buy a Segway in Canada...

I bought the Level Level Level and it's a bit of a pain.
Here is one that caught my attention.

I'm using the level-level-level for years.
Its not bad but I would like to have more accurate reticle leveling for my precision long range centerfire rifles.
I trust these bubble levels for my rimfires or anything that shoots under lets say, 100-200 yards.

I dunno what to think about the Brownells product in the link...

The plumb bob is a very interesting idea !
What is difficult is to find a quality bubble level, there is tons of #### from China around...

The Segway is not very expensive and the reviews are really good so it mught worth a try if only I can find one...
 
the segway is good if you have a flat surface to put in. if it rounds it will be so so ...

Korth is the distributor so any sellers of Leupold can have it.

i used for years a lead end rope as the contractors in europe are using when they built masonry.

to use bubble you need to be sure the surface you are working is even and there is only a few lol ...

Almost all my precision rifles have a picatinny rail so they have a flat surface.

I will try a Leupold dealer for the Segway, thanks !

The plumb bob seems to be popular.

I will find a Segway and buy it then I will setup a scope with both devices and see it I have the same level.

I also want to buy a quality bubble level, something like a Starett...

I do pretty much the same thing. I level the rifle in a rest and adjust it to a plumb bob as far away as I can see it. If you're lucky your neighbour's house will be properly plumb. You might have some explaining to do standing out there next to the house with a level, but you do what you have to do.
 
It's a "buy once cry once" kinda thing, howver if your moving scopes around to different rifles you can't go wrong. YMMV

I'm not an expert but personally, I would use this device only with one piece mounts/unimounts.

I always hated to remove the scope with separate rings still attached to the scope.

I have a Spuhr *wedge/wedge base levels* that came with my Spuhr rings. Its not a bad system but I'm not a fan.
To adjust cant of your scope, rings must be slightly loose. The wedge slightly push the scope upward and when you tighten the rings, the scope want to go down.
Though it's a good starting point to level a scope, I would like to finish with something else...

PS, The Arisake wedge kit looks a little bit better made than the Spuhr kit imo because the top of the wedge is flat and will not wear as fast as the *peaked* top of the Spuhr wedge.
You can also order the Arisaka Optic Leveler Combo which have 2 wedges with different heights, so you are right by saying the Arisaka kit is more versatile.

I've used it with my Spuhr rings and the Leupold one piece mount, no difference.

you still need to align the vertical plane for the reticle with that expensive toy ...
 
I love my Segway - fast, easy and it works. Some very well known long distance shooters/trainers in Ontario use it on their target rifles. One marksman told me that you cannot always rely on the level on top of the turret because he has found some cases where the reticle and the turret are not in 100% allingment
