Plenty of people on here spray painting entire rifles, paying good coins for ceracoating/armacoating/powder coating... So nothing wrong with Hydrodipping a stock.

And dont forget to post pictures of the rifle when its done

Only question i would have is how durable is it? If it is better than paint go for it.

Thanks for the opinions so far.. I've heard that the durability is exceptional, and they use something like 3 coats of clear coat over top of it.. Guess my main question was if you guys thing having a camo gun is going a little too far...

lots of camo guns out there! I had a real expensive one, Rem Mod 7 Custom K.S. 7mm-08.

If you want to why wouldn't you, it's your gun. Do the barrel and scope also but just don't put it down and lose it, lol.
