Homemade pistol caliber semi auto carbine?

According to the RCMP lab guys anything after having been worked on for two thousand hours with the latest NASA designed CNC machine is easily converted which is why they restrict and prohib so much.....:runaway:

This isn't entirely correct. The 2000 hours refers to the time that the gun sits in queue (2000/7.5=267 days=53 work weeks) before it is even considered for inspection. So it is only after a year has passed that the process of determining how to convert begins. This, of course, does require additional time. After careful and thorough consideration, the gun goes back in queue until actual experimentation begins. There can be no other possible explanation for guns requiring years for evaluation. Unless stalling is a deliberate policy. Outright sloth or incompetence couldn't possibly be the reason.

Nail on the head! No reason why many many of these could be done over the phone or with photos. During inspection anybody with the proper experience should be able to determine within a couple days that it is good or not...
