Rasheed Carbine

yea I messaged the guy earlier on ebay and asked why he doesn't ship to Canada. no answer yet

Government Restrictions
•The United States Government has export restrictions in place for items such as barrels, barrel blanks, bolt assemblies, cylinders, receivers, frames, bolts, high capacity magazines, shotgun magazines, shotgun magazine extension tubes, shotgun complete trigger mechanisms etc.

•International orders containing restricted parts requiring an export license from the U.S. Department of State are not accepted. We do not obtain export licenses through the State Department.

•International orders containing unrestricted parts, requiring an import license from the country of destination .

I sent Sarco a e-mail they have parts but not sure which ones and last time I spoke to them......... ship to Canada a couple months ago.............Harold

I had to go to photo bucket but yes, I saw them.

There is a guy on Ebay / Gunbroker selling pins but he refuses to ship to Canada. That's the only source I know.

That's something that drives me to the rats and why I don't even visit E-bay anymore; why would someone post an item for sale on the WORLD WIDE Web, yet have no intention of sending the item any further then he could walk with it?

It should be a mandatory clause when you post an item that you are required to ship it wherever it's legally allowed.

You are right but in order to send firearms parts out of the US you need special license for it

On the bright side I found a company that is willing to make the firing pin and put it into production

i talked over the phone and they said they would charge me 35-45. and would be making it a one piece firing pin. just need to send down my broken one along with the measurments that walther_ppk told me and within 4-5 weeks they should have production started.

Hey, While you're at it, see if they can do a run of trigger disconnectors too! I need one, mine broke!

Anyone know where I could find one of these!?

So the one from the ag42 Ljungman won't work ?

I was able to retro fit the ljungman firing pin to fit my Rasheed, with the proper pin protrusion. I just hope it can handle it. I guess ill find out when I take it to the range. wish me luck.

Thats why less common collection pieces should not be shot...they become expensive paperweights.
While I'm not the biggest fan, SKS is the way to go for a x39 gun that will see tons of ammo down the pipe. They are cheap, they are tough, they are plentiful and parts are available.
