Ruger seems to have lost it's way lately quality & direction

If anything like the last Ruger's I've seen, hell no for that price. Quality has been getting shoddier. Like kthers have said, for that kind of money, you could do way better. (DAR22, TacSol, Volq, etc.)

while i agree that the quality of Ruger has dropped in the past couple years and the prices have been going up up and up.
to say that TacSol, VQ and DAR22 are better for this price is not correct my friend.
these guns im guessing will be around the $700 range.
last TacSol i saw up here was going for $1,1150 to $1,350 and my 2 DAR22 builds ran me $1,500.
thats substantially more than $700.

i have been looking at the take down models since they came out but havnt seen one that i like yet.
i may pull the trigger on one of these as they are neat.
a person would almost want to pick up the 22/45 Lite in the matching color - just for aesthetics sake.

I really like the idea of these guns. Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to buy one at a reasonable price. But 670us = $872CAD, that might be too high, but its still less than 2/3 of what I spent on my DAR22. If it performs reasonably well, who could complain?

not up here as of yet.
usually new ruger stuff takes 6-8 months to make it up here.
shouldn't be much longer, i see the 9mm ruger CMD 1911 is up here and that came out about the same time.

Basspro sells the "lite" version and Al's had the "target" barrel as of last week.

I picked up one of the target take-down versions, not as heavy as I thought it might be. Ruger says the lite version is half a pound lighter than the heavy

I see your wheels in your head turning. I could see you having a color matching set. pistol/rifle just remember the barrel chamber issue we talked about.
