Baby done a bad bad thang - update page 8

I'm not quite sure if I am watching a soap opera or one of those weird fight scenes in the original Star Trek where someone pisses off Scotty in an alien bar and the Enterprise crew trashes the place complete with McCoy doing Judo chops......

I was avoiding this thread because of the title but then I thought to myself, probably shouldn't judge a book by its cover and so forth. Besides, damn near read everything else. Glad I finally opened it up, quite the entertaining read. Thanks gents.

Arny references aside.... I once bent a Bushnell trophy by over tightening a set of extension rings. Turns out the action was not square. The elevation adjustment was toast but the windage still worked. So I mounted it on a 10/22 and used shims made of pop cans for elevation adjustment and used it for a few years before it started to feel unpractical.
 
Hey An Update on this Scope-


I had re mounted it to the Ruger last night and this Arfternoon I was able to Resight it, So far I would say the Scope is Fine-

I had to move it around quite a bit to Bore sight - now I'm not sure if boresighted from 303, if not then scope came off this 35 w originally.... too unsure to make a call..

I then shot it 6 times over all today, firing, adjusting, firing. Its movements coincided with my adjusting.. ill see if it holds zero or not and get back.
